The Hills & Dales General Hospital laboratory has a long-standing history of providing accurate and complete clinical laboratory services in the Cass City and Thumb Region. Our laboratory has met the rigorous and stringent standards of the College of American Pathologists (CAP) by passing on-site accreditation surveys, every two years, for over a decade. Our modern laboratory is staffed with certified Phlebotomists and Clinical Scientists under the medical direction of a board-certified Pathologist. Laboratory services are available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, and because you never need an appointment, there’s sure to be a time that fits your busy schedule. We offer timely and convenient outpatient care during routine business hours, Mon.-Fri. from 7am-8pm. and during the weekends from 7am-2pm.

Our laboratory offers a complete range of the most diagnostic and therapy related tests, and with our instruments’ link to the hospital’s information system, your test results are in your physician’s office within minutes after completion. For tests that are not performed at Hills & Dales, specimens are referred to reference laboratories. Additionally, our courier service makes daily pickups from our physician offices in Ubly, Kingston, Cass City, and Caro.

 We also serve our area employers by collecting Department of Transportation  (DOT) and occupational drug screens and serve as a blood drawing station for  Blue Care Network enrollees.
